I was working on a business card design with a buddy and all of a sudden my 6 pt font is rediculously huge! This came from his computer because he said he has this problem and I clicked into his card to copy, and then when back to mine... now my computer is stuck with these monster font sizes.
Now--I had already had a line of 17 pt font on the image I was working on and that still edits the same, but any time I try to do new font layers the size is all screwy...

I checked the image size so that isn't the problem, anyone know what gives????

DPI setting on your image...?

I know I had a problem when adding text to a set of images where the same size font was physically different sizes on the images. Turned out that RAW Shooter was converting RAW files at 240DPI, where PS was converting at 320DPI... Same pixel dimensions, but different resolutions...

Edit for BAD typing!

I agree it may just be a matter of DPI if they're different between the two images than anything you move from one to another will have a shift in size aswell.
