Here's a couple that I almost entered into rivers & streams. Wouldn't mind some input on these, if you are still bored. Thanks.

(photo removed by OP) Here's a brand new one I just uploaded. No special effects added at all - just a crop and small contrast boost. Although I really like the effect the short DOF gave this shot, I'd be interested to see if others like it or dislike it. Give it your best shot! Thanks :)

Thanks. I think I've gotten "taking good photos" down reasonably well, but that "wow factor" usually still escapes me .
