I have used the Mosaic technique on and off for a few years now...but thought I would share this one with you. The finished Mosaic uses 86,400 cells. Each cell is an individual image. There are over 330 images from the Emerald floods used to create the final piece.

I love this idea, but is it effective if it's not printed in a scale large enough to at least see the individual images? What is the final format for this image??

What software did you use to put it together??

Took about 2 hours of rendering...

Image sizes is 7840X2325 and contains 2480 NON DUPLICATED images of the
ACTUAL DEMILLING OF THIS AIRCRAFT wich started right after it was parked!
(I still need to refine and do 1 or 2 more renderings until it will be
good for a poster)

Small Version

The individual pictures are large so it will have lots of detail...the large version will be 4x bigger than posted 7840X2325 below! I somehow got a few helicopers mixed in!

Here is another one I did back in 2005. This image is made up of 3750 photos comprising of 220 different images from the local show.

I used Easy Mosaic.

I use AndreaMosaic....its free! ;)
