Well it DOES look like we have a National POLSKA team in the making, I'm still waiting for a few PM's to hit me back but I think you can 100% add the POLSKA team to the roster..

Thanks

Oh, my bad.
I checked the spreadsheet and the initial posting.
So much excitement - it's tough to keep up with all the parallel discussions.
BUT - so much FUN

Right OK, I need a bit of confirmation here

I have a team (almost) ALL members are of Polish ORIGIN, but not actually BORN in Poland. i.e- parents are Polish

I hope this will be OK otherwise we will have to retract the POLSKA team from the olympics and that would be so sad..

FOR NOW, I shall presume it is fine and will PM my team and submit the names to the OP.

Stating from the rules, Team members must be born in the country they are participating in.

I was born in Germany, but only lived there for 5-6 years, then moved to England, lived there 20 years then came to America and been here about 9 years.

But double check with CUJ

Don't worry about it, nobody's going to ask for a birth certificate ;)

So here are the requirements for entering The DPC Olympics:
- Both members and non-members may join

- Teams will be based on what COUNTRY you are born in. For example, if you were born in United States you will be automatically placed on the USA team. (no exceptions) :P

Well, if the rule is THAT strict then we will have to withdraw but I am sure that by being 1st generation Polish is good enough. We Poles keep our motherland very close to heart.. Also, I was CONCEIVED in Poland but actually born in UK, work that one out, my life started in Poland..

Anyway, I have told all the crew on the POLSKI team that we may be withdrawn under the stated rules so if that IS the case it is certainly not a problem..

Thanks

It's the smaller one that should be used in your sig though. Not the full sized banner. ;oP

From reading the posts, it appears that the rule has not been strictly enforced....

I think I was the last to join and it looks like there are 8 randoms. So I think the first 7 should make up Atlantis. If one drops, I'll play. Just my thought.
