OSX will kill me one of these.
So I connect me PSP to my Mac.
I drag a bunch of photos to the Trash, since it would be too much to do normally.
Now, I know about the .Trash problem. My old Sony Ericsson's already encountered it a couple of times.
Anyway. I eject the PSP. I check my memory. Oh, the files haven't been deleted. Re-connect. Go into Terminal, show hidden files. Drag .Trash to Trash.
...
All my saves are gone. I had to reformat the bloody thing.

Did you empty the trash on the Mac before ejecting the Sony?

I have a memory stick and a very long time ago I dragged some stuff into the trash and tried to add more files to the stick only to find that there was not enough space on the stick.. I had to empty the trash on the mac then my memory stick was fine and able to accept the new files.

DING!

Just like the trash can in your house, in your bathroom, or kitchen. You may have thrown something away, but it is still in your house, until you take it out.
:)

I read your message a couple of times and I'm still not sure what you did. What is a PSP to start with?
