Is there any way to open multiple images from Bridge into CS3 into the same document as layers? The only way I can find is using the Photomerge function, but that's a bit much for what I need.

Thanks

this is the way I do it:

open each image, then copy and paste into the first image. this puts each onto a different layer.

That's the way I do it but was hoping I just could select multiple images in Bridge and then open as layers in CS3, but there doesn't seem to be an explicit function for this, and it seems so obvious (i.e. it must be there, I'm just missing it - or there's a function in CS3 to open all open files as layers, like in Photomerge)

EDIT: For anyone else, don't bother with that link - it's outdated - the script is in CS3 by default at this time. Under File -> Scripts -> Load Files to Stack (i.e. the loading part of the Photomerge feature)

Weird. My CS3 already has that loaded in. Also Load images to PDF and WPG with it.

Can always use the Move Tool and Shift-Drag the image to another window (if you already have the image windows open).
