Well I finally had a chance to combine my two loves (music and photography).  ericwoo joined me with his lovely wife and some of her co-workers for a night of booze and taking photographs of a live performance by a local band by the name of Haven.

I had a blast and think I don't want to fool with models anymore. I think I would do this kinda stuff for free anyway. Although I understand Eric's tab was pretty high. ;)

It was a hoot! James, looking at yours on Smugmug, your look a good deal better than mine. I posted larger ones for them on Flickr, but here are some that I uploaded to here. Blake said that he really liked them, so mission accomplished. And the tab...$270 for mine and Amanda spent another hundred or so. I'm glad we didn't stay more than a couple of hours. Not bad at all for your first time shooting a live act.
