Hi, I said in a recent thread that I froze some bugs, and was planning to photograph them, well anyways, I found a live one, and just photographed it right on the leaf where it was sitting. Heres the shot. I would really appreciate any comments, thanks.

I like it - nice composition, sharp and eye-popping contrast/saturation/colour. Did you use any close-up filters, or was this a straight in-camera macro mode?

straight in camera macro mode. The sweet spot, not as close as you can get at wide angle, but rather, a little further away, zoomed in a little. I also used a hvl f1000 flash, that held above the leaf by my friend. I really like that this flash can be connected to the camera, without having to be stuck on the hot shoe.
