In submitting a photo, I need to provide the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. I've got ACDSee, and have found the EXIF data, but all that I can find is the ISO.
Maybe it would help if I know what the aperture and shutter speed are? Is there another word for them? I'm using a Nikon Coolpix 800. |

shutter speed is the speed the camera takes the pictures. common ones are 1/60 1/125 1/250 1/500
aperature also f-stop... is how much a little opening inside the camera opens up or doesn't open up (resulting in more or less focus distance (focal length)) common ones are 4.5, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, and so on.. hope this helped a litte.

Aperture is the same as F#.
Shutter speed is normally like : 1/2000, 1/100, 1", 4", etc. |

well, i use a sony, and win xp pro, and the way I get all my info, is simply by right clicking the image -> properties -> summary -> and then click advanced, if the info isnt already there.

| You should have software that came with your camera that displays complete EXIF data. If not you can use the free program IrfanView. A useful program to have no matter what you use for editing. |

It is also my understanding that those details are optional and if you cant find out or dont know one or all of the settings then you can still submit without them.
