I know this shot is of questionable merit, but more for learning sake I would like to know if anyone could fix this exposure on the eagle at least...
I did get some good shots of eagles in the wild btw....perhaps will post them in a bit...
any advice greatly appreciated...or photoshop magic for a non-photoshoper : )

you could make a decent silhouette out of it probably, but i am leary detail in the the bird could be recovered well.

PSP....with some gamma and brightness and contrast tweaking. Best I could get without too much noise. Of course you might have better luck with original. Maybe some Neat Image afterwards. I couldn't use USM, just too noisy with this smaller photo. Good luck!

Quick 'n dirty: auto levels, lightened shadows, increased blue, cloned out lens impurity, unsharp mask [Phhotshop Elements].

Ellamay... piece o' cake:

Retouched Eagle

This was about 2 minutes of effort (literally). Auto Levels and brighten midtones, curves, desaturate those greens, and a little unsharp mask. There's some obvious noise on the eagle's body, but I could take care of that with a little more effort or a higher-res original. Just send me a message from the site if you like.

Nice shot.
