I am pretty excited to say I got my own studio space and setup! Previously if I needed use of a studio I was renting it. Now I have my own space, 24/7. Granted, it isn't the biggest or best space, but it is an awesome starting point for now. I got most everything setup last night and got in a practice shoot too. I will post pictures tonight of the space and my first studio shoot on my own.

My setup includes:
AB products...
x4 AB800 Flash Units
x2 13' Heavy Duty Stands
10-foot General Purpose Light Stand
Backlight Stand
LB11 Boom Arm
30-inch x 60-inch Giant Softbox (with LGSR speedring)
Four-Channel Wired Remote Control
48-inch Translucent White âShoot-Thruâ Umbrella
32-inch Brolly Box
Set of Four Honeycomb Grids (10º, 20º, 30º and 40º)
UBR Background Reflector
LiteMod Barndoors
Set of 20 Color Gels
Impact IMBGSS12 Background Support System - 12' Wide
Sekonic SEL358 L-358 Flash Master Meter - Silver

For backgrounds so far I just started with a seamless white, and I also have a large muslin background I bought at the fabric store that I plan on dying (sp?) and rigging up for an additional background. I am going to get a few other paper backgrounds as well I think.

Now I need to get practicing and experimenting more!

Congradulations, put an "Open For Business" sign on the door and welcome the customers.

Thanks everyone! :)

Here is one pic to start... I will get some actual pics of the studio later today once I get it all cleaned up and organized.

Here are some pics of the studio... I will apologize in advance- I was lazy and tired and took these right before I left the studio so its just the regular overhead lights and they are even a bit blurry! lol

P.S. The space is about 16' x 14' so I am doing my best to optimize the space :)
The studio is located in an all artists building, so I also have access to a 1000 plus square feet of common/gallery space to show my photography...
