I almost did. When I was married we explored the area and found a house on the east slope of the Sandia Mountains that we considered buying. I really love New Mexico and the area in and around Albuquerque was beautiful, natural, and clean with a lot to offer someone who loves the outdoors. The only thing missing was the ocean and opportunities for sailing. But nothing's perfect and there are always vacations back to tropical parts. |

i live about 5 minutes from the tramway. i love wandering around on the hiking trails near my apartment. i prefer the surroundings here to the oceanside. |

Maybe you have seen the offramp for Lemitar, it's the last offramp before you hit Socorro. Polvadera is right there too. It's not much of a town, really, more farmland than anything :-)
I'd like to join you for photography trips! I usually get a year pass for the Bosque each year, I go there a lot. There are other interesting places to photograph out this way as well. Please PM me and lets trade contact information! |

My wife Lorene and I live in Albuquerque! We live on the west side, though. Are you a native? We were both born and raised here. |

I live in La Jara, Colorado which is just on the border of New Mexico and Colorado, north of Taos. My husband works in Questa.
It would be kind of fun to have a New Mexico get together in spring! |

a get together would be a lot of fun. i'm not really great at organizing and coordinating, but i will try if no one else can.
i'm not a native. i'm originally from houston, texas. i lived here for 1 year in 2000 doing post-grad work and then moved up to the northeast. i finally found the right job to get me back to albuquerque 2 years ago. |
