Hi, I am new to this board (film photog) but wanted to mention a photo display this weekend and also encourage photographers to come out and see a beautiful place to shoot:

**Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Lightning photography display returns to Boyce Thompson Arboretum

The lightning photography display, featuring Arizona Monsoon (film) photographs, has once again been set up at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior, Arizona. It will run through the month of February. Artists reception Feb 3 from 10am-12noon.

Located at the base of dramatic cliffsides, the Boyce Thompson Arboretum contains 320 acres of lush parkland dedicated to diverse plant life and habitat in which to hike, photograph and experience nature //arboretum.ag.arizona.edu/events.html.
Definitely bring your camera! Boyce Thompson is a park situated in a cliffside canyon. The trees were planted in the 1920s so very mature, attracting diverse ranges of bird life.

Inside the Arboretum, stop by the visitors center gallery and join myself and Cathy Franklin, a Phoenix photographer who is also displaying her lightning photos, for an artist's reception this Sunday Feb 3 from 10am-12noon.

Susan - can't attend but just wanted to chime in to say Boyce Thompson is a woderful palce. I stopped last year (in March) and had a wonderful time walking the trails and taking photos. Anyone down that way who has not been it is worth the trip.
