so recently i was at a wrestling tournament taking pictures. and saw a guy who was taking posium pictures and noticed he was shooting for some photography place around here called pittman photography...so i strolled up confidently with my camera with my 70-200 in hand so he knew i was serious... we got to talking and eventually i sqeezed in to mention that i was intrested in a job. he was thrilled and i went for an interview... i start my "training" in march and will be ready to work by mid march...
keep in mind im 16
i will be making aout $9-10/hour to start... which is excellent because minimum wage is 7.15 i think.

anyone ever work for a buisness like this good or bad experience?

here is their website

//www.johnpittman.com/.

Cool, I do this type of work part time about 5 months a year on the weekends and some week nights. The company I work for shoots the trading cards and memoriable stuff, plus group shots of Soccer, Football, Baseball and Softball, they don't do any action shots. Get ready for high volumes of work. We shoot about 700 and 1500 kids on a Saturday or Sunday, We only get about 10 seconds per child so you get quick with looking around the view finder, you also get a great education in fill flash if you work out doors, everybody we shoot gets the same pose, it keeps things simple that way. The company has been in business for 17 years and really has a system down. Good luck it's a great start for you.

at the interview the guy said "leave your creativity in the glovebox, but you sure do get an education"
