I'm just wondering what people around use for galeries on your websites. I know some use smugmug or other sites that integrate, I use lightroom to create mine, but I'm looking for other options.
What do you use? |

Postcardviewer made by the folks that made Simpleviewer. Integrates into several applications.

I'm not too keen on designing websites, so this time round, I used one of the templates in Photoshop.
File->Automate->Web Photo Gallery |

Yes, I second that.
JAlbum is very easy to use. I've been using it for a couple of years now.
Check mine out.

Looks good. Once all pages have downloaded all the images, I can even use my mouse wheel to roll up and down, through all images on all pages, very quickly. |

Another vote for simpleviewer from me and you can always use Photoshop's web gallery creation tool.

pbase.com rocks! My Gallery
It doesn't have a slide show but must my costumers don't care for the slide show.
It does have ease to uploading and creating new galleries with sub galleries and an option for PAD (photo a day). People comment on them too which is nice. Great community.

I use Joomla as my site CMS with EasyGallery for my portfolios.
I use InstaProofs.com for online proofing and ordering when needed.

Believe it or not, I just copy the files to my free web space that my cable company gives me! :-)
I've had my www.gainous.com domain name registered for about 10 years now and no matter who actually gives or rents me space, I can always point my domain to that underlying real location.
For this redirection (or website/domain forwarding, as it's called), I use DNS Central ($19/year). This is also how I have my email address as my name (e.g. {MyFirstName}@gainous.com)
I've been using DNS Central for the better part of eight years and I only know of them going down once for a very short period (couple of hours).

No - it is completely freeware. You can pay to get licenced "skins" which integrate paypal checkout carts etc but generally the default ones are nice enough.
Mine runs on a free JAlbum skin called BananAlbum (i programmed the rest of the site myself) |
