I finally got my digital camera, and before I start joining in
on the challenges I need to know what kinda of changes in photoshop
I can make.
examples
color correction?
brightness/contrast?
cropping?
ect.
I read the rules and it said no dodging and some other effects.
Honestly, I'm not sure what some of the other effects are!
I'm film guy that just went digital so photoshop is kinda new to me!
thanks,
Dave |

Welcome to the 300D Team! You chose a fine camera to start with in digital photography. :-)
Cropping is allowed.
Color corrections, brightness/contrast, etc. are allowed as long as they are applied to the whole image. No selective editing is allowed. This is for the open challenges. For the member challenges more advanced editing techniques are permissable.
This is just a basic response. Some others might be able to better explain some of the rules. |

Welcome Dave
You can make color corrections, brightness/contrast corrections, cropping, resizing.
Basically, you can do most things if they affect the whole image and not specific areas.
Hope this helps.
BTW, I'm another film guy that went digital.

Thanks!
This is exactly what I was looking for!
Basic corrections is all I really know how to do
right now anyway.
So I guess that works out pretty well! |
