| Is there a good software/ freeware that allowes you to resize hundreds of images at the same time? or convert high resolution files into web ready low resolution files without having to go into each individual file? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

What software do you use for your editing? Does it allow batching?
ETA: The reason I ask is that you may have the tools already.

Photoshop 7 or later will easily do it by using the Web gallery function.
Lightroom does it well. I had it do over 24000 files at one time from RAW to low res images.
Neither is freeware, but both can be used for 30days on a trial basis. |

If you are using Windows XP, Microsoft has a powertoy for resizing images, it is the most convenient tool I have ever used for resizing all the images together
you can download it here
