What I've tried to do is to take a photo of a wide but short linear object. To maximize the impact of the object I cropped the photo in accordance with the size of the object. While in full size the photograph looks good yet when resized for dpc the impact is lost and the print is too small. I can't show the actual shot since it is in a current challenge.

Your advice is appreciated.
