| Could be a great idea if it works... not that it will ever get off the ground as that time has passed but what about picking up a cheap 1V :wow: or something and using this. |

This isn't new. Though the original concept of digital film was only created for high end professional 35mm film cameras.

Idea is very good. They have to find a way to keep the layer steady as rock, because even very small movement on the film would cause blur images, since you won't be able to see it. And there is no preview; just like old days... you have to know what you doing with your settings ;)
Again, it is a very good idea, think about the film cameras and prices... old lenses... etc. |

Knew it had been kicking around for a while but not as far back as 2001... Shame really as it's a nice idea for compatibility and would have given us no need for the camera arms race that has been happening for years - obviously in all the camera companies interest this not be developed. Like I said, it's past it's useful point as it's too late now..... Just a dead end in development.
Still... would be nice to get one of those cheap amazing film bodies with the advantages of digital. |
