I have been taking low flying military aircraft photos for a couple of years now. I get to see some good flying then occasionally some spectacular flying.
This was one of the final flings of the RAF Jaguar before being decommissioned.

I would like to point out that it was not an airshow or a planned fly by.

Awesome photo, and nice little history bite. You were very fortunate to be there and to be so ready. Several world class aerobatic pilots practice over the airport in the town where i work most of the time, and it is really a show of skill and nerves as they hone their routines.

Great capture ! I was stationed at Lossiemouth from 1973 to 1976 where there was an OCU (operational conversion unit) with Jaguar's. I remember one day when a pilot did inverted low level flying but somehow he managed to eject whilst flying at approx 75 to 100 feet above the ground - made a very large hole in the ground and not much was found of him. They were not my favourite (English Electric Lightning's are!) but I have found memories of them.
