Theese are taken in freezing cold in an unused ski area in iceland
how do you feel about theese one?

I love the first picture.
Is the whole ski resort abandoned? Any other pictures of it? *Chalet, etc*

yeah its all abandoned, nope this is the one only one acctually

What's with the letterbox framing? I've seen a few challenge entries that do it...is it a style thing to project a video-like image, or you just liked two sided framing to enhance the perspective?
Personally I like the first photo more than the second. Lots of lines and perspective. Is that B&W/duotone? If not, might be worth trying and going for a high contrast edit, seeing as it's a very duotonal image, to see if it adds any impact...
