but then I sold MY first print. Damn it's exciting to think that someone likes your stuff enough to pay money for it!

Congratulations on the sale.
Reading this thread reminds me of how excited I was when I found out I sold my first print.

Weird. I checked my prints site after i read this thread and realised I had my first two sales this week too.
I'll have to call my mom and thank her ;)

I know exactly how you feel. I've only sold one print and it was the one I thought would be the last sell. I was really excited, but I wish it happened more often!
