Could I please have some comment about the following photos. I took these yesterday for a couple and their baby. The only lighting I had available was my speedlite. As some of you may know I have just got my strobe kit in but haven't used it yet. I would like to know what you think of the poses and PP etc.

Overall very nice. I left some comments on a few of them. I got my first newborn (8 weeks) to shoot in about 90 minutes. I'll happy if they turn out this well!

Thanks for you comments. The father in the photo was very red/brown from working outside I think. I did take a bit of the red out of some of the photos but must have missed number 4. I wasn't counting on the baby going to sleep and so didn't have my really big pillow that I have used before when I knew I was doing a baby shot by themselves. So I had to use a big painters drop sheet folded up to put underneath her, but you are right in saying I should have moved her up a bit, I was lucky that she fell asleep.
Thanks again for your comment. More are welcome if anyone feels up to it. |

Some parents are going to be really happy when they see those shots.
It isn't how the parents look, it is the little one that melts those cold hearts :)) |
