My father bought one of these for my 90 year old grandmother. He scanned collected old photographs....uploaded them into a program on the computer, and transfered the photos to her new frame. She has really enjoyed the frame and watches it a lot. I am going to change up the photos every so often, and add a few of my own too. I think it would make a nice gift for someone you want to share photos with, or someone who takes their own. Here is the url for the device if anyone is interested:

They aren't cheap though! Thought it might be a good idea for a present, then I saw the price.
