Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post. Every Sunday or Monday I will post the name of a member or user and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. Go have a look at their profile page and/or portfolio. Enjoy their photos, leave some comments and most of all post one or two of their photos in this thread so others can see them and enjoy them. If you like you can also write a little blurb saying why you enjoy this member's photos.

This week's Member of the Week is Alain Turgeon, Alain. And here are a couple of his photos.

Wouldn't it make sense for you to write a "little blurb" about why you chose the person.

Well, I suppose I could, but this is not about me choosing my favourite photographers. This is choosing a photographer that might not have won many ribbons, that might not be popular in the forums, but who has beautiful photos in their portfolio. I would rather others view their photos and not be influenced by what I have to say about him/her.

Alain does have a gift for capturing a stunning image. I've enjoyed looking at many of his photos, and most recently this one jumped out at me as one to admire.

I have had Alain as a fave photog for a while and am proud to say that he is a future DPL teammate (if that ever comes around). Wonderful work throughout his portfolio. Excellent call!

And his jelly fish image is one of my faves of the entire site.

I missed this announcement the first time around - Alain does very incredibly beautiful work! Often quite understated and definitely often underappreciated.
