Dibold is an aluminum.
It can be printed onto.
Is there anyone out there that has seen this method of printing, or is there anyone out there that prints this way?
Can you show examples?
Is it expensive to do?
How do you print onto aluminum?
Thanks.

I've seen a plaque where a B&W photo was imaged onto an aluminum plate, but I think it was some kind of laser-etching, with a half-toned look to it. I'll try to get a close-up picture of it for you, but I probably won't be able to do that until Thursday. |

I don't believe that it was laser.
I think it was actual ink on aluminum.

That could be it -- I have to take a closer look. |
