We have just completed the next episode of the Podcasts for Digital Photographers.

Well here it is folks, another edition of the new âPodcast for Digital Photographers.â This week Lee and I had a discussion with Michael Cudjoe Eyesup on the topic of Websites for Photographers. This is the first podcast in a series on this subject. In this first episode we cover the topics of costings, what to watch out for, feasibility of owning and maintaining a website and other general areas.

I am pleased to say that the Audio was a little better with this issue. Although we were very lucky to get it through. After 2 days of trying to log the 3 of us in together, we finally got it recorded yesterday with only a few minutes to spare, before the rains came down again. My town is cut off from the surrounding areas by flood waters. Today the water went over the dam wall for the first time in 17 years. The areas that I photograph at (Child's Play) are now about 4 meters underwater. They are predicting the town to go under by Tuesday. Today my hubby had to help evacuate one of our friends home as they are going under tonight. I am surprised we have the internet still. So I had to quickly push this podcast through today.

So anyways...onto the podcast.

Please let us know what you think after having a listen!

So...onto the Podcast.

Good luck with the podcast Judi and good luck with the flood waters. I know how you feel I had to wait six hours last night to get over a flooded creek just to get home from work.

Thanks guys.

Word has it that the town is expected to get hit with the worst flood in 100 years. But as with any small town...no one is in panic mode. Down the shops everyone is chirpy and chatty....even to strangers. People are pulling together and being there for each other. I had to console one of my brides earlier as her hubby has been helicoptered out to work for 4 days. The mine has helicoptered beds and food out to them so they can keep the pumps and ventilation going. All other miners are on call for the SES to help the town. But it means that some wifes and children are left with no husbands/fathers...and that can only add to the stress. But be assured...when someone needs help...everyone will come.

I looked outside a few minutes ago....there is no sun...there hasn't been for a few days...the sky is grey and raining...but an eerie yellow hue all around. It is very quiet...even the birds. The calm before the storm. But the children are playing and happy.

What more could one ask for?

Since Judi has her hands full with shooting and saving people from the flooding I thought I would give this a little bump!
