So I start scanning some old negs and a LOT have big scratches across them..... %^$^$$&%^&*(*&^%*$... While I love the feel of shooting film. I have scanned a lot of slides and never had this sort of problem.... Anyone out there working in a film lab, Can you not walk over my negs please :-/
While I like the feel of shooting film, I ain't missing the crap.... digi is much cleaner. |

That's one thing I DON'T miss about film... that and dust.
Personally, unless it's 120 or larger I wouldn't even bother with film anymore. Just not worth the hassle. I gave away all my 35mm film equipment not too long ago.

| Even though I haven't looked at any of my negatives of late, I have done quite a few scans for customers and they all have dust and scratches. Not very nice hey. |
