So I've been doing a lot of family portraits lately and selling frames to go with them. And this morning I decided I wanted to order some additional frames that I had been putting off for a little while. So I try calling the 800 number for Excel Picture Frames and, to my surprise, I get an Operator Intercept telling me that the line has been disconnected. I go, what?!? So I email the salesman and ask if the number has changed. He fires an answer right back asking me to call him right away. I do so and he explains that Excel Picture Frames went up in smoke last night.
True story, read it here: Frame Business Goes Up In Smoke
That sucks! Luckily, the business is warehouse, which is part of a larger company, which is still doing fine. So the salesman took my order anyway and simply explained that it'll take a little longer than usual to fulfill the order.
