is it okay for admins to silence a person in the forums who is respectfully requesting a cancellation/deletion of his or her account?
I am waiting for a response to my request.. May I PLEASE have my account removed from dpc? I would appreciate a reply. Delete this post again if you would like, Just send me an E-mail of acknowledgement. I have been silenced twice, and I am getting to be a bit frustrated.
I made a few apologies for my rant in the post that was removed as well: I apologize to those of you I actually offended. I regret that my rant was taken as far as it was.. I felt pushed into a very defensive position..
In any case: I feel very unwelcome (rightly so) by too many, and am not interested in continuing my membership.
If you delete this post without at least replying to my request I will re-post this exact message. |

Give the admins a chance to wake up at least. They do have lives too ya know, and they dont read every post in the forums, so I think it would be best for you to email them directly.

Please do not publicly request that your account be cancelled.
The Site Administrators are the only ones who can cancel your account, and they may not see your thread in the forums for days, or possibly never.
Please go under the "Help" menu and choose "Contact" and make your request that way. |

| In fact I did e-mail at least one of them directly. And if they're not too tired to delete my forum posts, why are they too tired to delete my account? I have been asking since roughly 11 pm last night. |

| The Site Council cannot delete your account, only the Site Administrators can. I explained this to you in a private email as well. |

Any site council can hide threads, only Drew or Langdon, the admins, can remove accounts. Just be patient.
