I have a dilema. I dont know whether to straighten the truck, or the horizon or just leave it. What do you think?

Horizon straightened
Truck straightened

Straightening the horizon is most pleasing to me... but is pleasing what you're after? |

I agree, the straight horizon looks right, while the lopsided truck is quite appropriate and adds to the impression of a rusting, dilapidated heap. Besides, thats probably the way it really looks.

For me the original looks best. When you "leveled" the horizon, you placed the "field line" in the right BG on the same visual plane as the much-further-away "horizon" on the left, and it looks very unnatural to me.

Just to make this even more of a difficult choice...I agree with Robert, the original looks best to me. |

Thanks for your input, I actually liked the original best myself but wondered how the masses would judge it. I was wondering that if I put a similar sort of shot into a challenge, would I get nothing but comments about the tilt of the shot. It would seem that I would at least get some comments to that effect. I guess each photo needs to be judged on its own composition as to whether it would need to be adjusted or not.

Hehe to really play devil's advocate I wonder what it would look like to make it even further tilted. To give even more falling apart look??

That might work but only if it was shot that way. It's a perspective kinda thing... |

I like the original too. It looks 'balanced'.
