I have 8 Critiques and this is the common remark (small image). Why is this? How do I correct this for next time.

You should make sure that the longest side of your image is 640 pixels, since that is the maximum allowed. If yor image is much smaller, you are severely limiting the detail your shot can contain, which will inevitably result in lower score, and comments like those you mention.

Always try to capture your shot with the highest quality as possible and resize to the correct dimensions after. This way it would look a lot better.
