| I bought my daughter a Fujifilm S5700 for her birthday. She is wanting a lens hood for it, but it has a 46mm thread. I had found a glare filter in that size at a local shop, but they were surprised to find that in stock. Anyone know of a good source to find these things? |

| You should try to get a step-up ring that will take it to a more standard size, that will make getting accessories much easier. |

I did a search for "46mm lens hood" and foundf B&H phot has several in that size. They have a ton of step up rings, but none that go from a 46 lens. Plenty that go to it from a smaller size though. I'll probably find a handful other toys to order while I am at it and get one of those for her. Thanks.
She has expressed an interest in photography and its something we can do together. She should be able to do a lot with that Fuji. Lack of a decent camera won't be an excuse! I've seen great stuff here with lesser equipment. |
