I've been quite bogged down by school lately, so new pictures have been hard to come by. So to satisfy a craving last night, I dug up an older shot from my first 2AM trip to one of UCF's parking garages. I essentially mirrored one side, flipped it horizontally and then stitched it back to it's original self (it'll make more sense when you see it). I also liked the blue created by the flouresent light in the stairwells but not against the almost orange color from the mercury vapor lights. So I selected everything but the stairwells and then used the channel mixer to convert the rest of the image to black and white (70/20/10). I used the clone tool to clone out distictive marks at random from each side... trying to make it look less like a less obvious 'fake' of the symmetry. A final step was to apply a copied and blurred layer over the final with the 'Overly' blending to give a softer feel and more dirty look.
Oy.. I'm not sure how much sense that made... I'm terrible at explainations and the english langauge. Anywho, here is the image as well as one I did a while ago using a similar technique.
Fullview - 1000x700ish @ ~150KB
Fullview - 1200x900ish @ ~210KB
Originals shot with my Canon 10D + EF 28-105 F/3.5-4.5 (approx. F16, 4 Sec @ ISO 100)

Your English is fine and your shots are very cool.
You have got to get out of that parking garage!! LOL
No, really this is a good series and I've enjoyed them. I love the one that looked like it was from Star-Wars. Keep up the good work.

lol... yes, I certainly need to get my bum out of this garage. Thanks for the compliments! I swear the next shots won't be of anything like or near the garage :) hehe
