If you back up a bit there are about eight images on this site
by Ansel Adams during the war years. Seems Ansel knew how to balance
sunlight and flash way back then.

Wonderful! I had seen some of his older, non-landscape shots before, but these are still splendid! The whole site is a gas! Some of the shots would kick our (well at least mine) in a Challenge here for sure!
