Does anyone know how photographers are able to have their photos uploaded to their computer instantly as they shoot? I'm guessing my D80 won't be able to do this, but just wondering which cameras do have this capability.
Thanks! |

i can tell you my canon came with software that i didnt even realize til a few months ago. came on the cd that had the drivers. for the canon its called "canon remote capture" and you have your usb cable running from the camera to the pc with the prg open and as you shoot it uploads. for me, and i am sure the pros have better ways, it loads REALLY slow in raw format. hope this helps

It's called tethered shooting and I'm relatively sure your D80 will do it, but you'll have to be attached to a USB cable.
