Wow. Ok, let this be the thread to help us understand what's legal to us on this one.

How about this:
Multiple captures of the same scene done at different times with a certain subject moving.
Can I select out the moving subject of each shot so as to have multiple versions of that subject without the ghosting that would be apparent?

Way confused on this one. I thought the rules state you cannot have the subject moved through out the picture. Can we get examples of legal and illegal shots?

I just asked this question.

Is the eraser tool legal with multiple images"

I stitching allowed?

Can the subject actually move?

Does time lapse have to be separate, defined, framed images"

The object of time-lapse is to show progression (subject movement) over time.

Legal (if no more than 10 images were used):

Illegal:

Is this what is going to be legal?

My guess would be yes but the images would have to be stacked into one final image.

That's my understanding of it. And to answer Wazoo... you COULD take a series of someone running (natural motion), but you couldn't do something like this because the rule is not "intended to allow a subject to appear in multiple, arranged places within a scene."

My opinion:

Illegal:

Legal, except for the number of exposures:

SC be prepared for my weekly review on legality to y'all :)
This is gonna be a tricky one :)

I'm stuck on the word "continuous". Does this mean that the pictures must be taken consecutively or really does it just refer to the continuous "motion"?

Is there a reason to continue this thread when the same questions are being asked and answered in the rule announcement thread? SC, can we lock one or the other? I'm gettin' whiplash, and people here have already missed some answers posted there.

OK, I am getting it. But one more question. Are the moon shots legal because they moon is not blocking anything behind it? I guess I'm not sure how one gets the moons onto each shot. Do I obtain this by putting shot #2 as a new layer over shot #1 and then masking off everything but the moon?

Probably a good idea to kepp all the questions together... feel free to re-ask any questions that were not answered in the announcement thread.
