I normally try to freeze the action in my aquarium and was origionally going to crop this to the single fish. Straight out the camera (no cropping) a fast run through neatimage and a poor attempt at a little dodging/burning.

I need to practice fish pics as my forum is having its 1st picture of the year competition - with prizes!

btw, I was one of the first people in the UK to keep this fish but sadly not been able to breed.

I know 'fish people' will like this shot, but what about photographers?

I like it. Color repetition and action balances out the depth of field and dark space. Quiet action.

Thanks Dwight, a couple of weeks ago I may well have filed the pic in the folder I never revisit. My short time at this site must be helping me :)
