Monthly Art Show At The Brewery Seeks Up Start Artists

ATTENTION MIXED MEDIA AND FINE ARTISTS IN LOS ANGELES AREA! NEW MONTHLY ART SHOW STARTS JANUARY 2008 AT THE BREWERY! We are looking for Mixed Media and Fine Artists for a great new Art Show Series in Los Angeles! Artists that work in Acrylic, Water Color, Pastel, Photography, Plaster, etc. We are also open to sculpture work but it can't be on too large of a scale! If this is you, please read on!
Starting this January 5, 2008 Gallery 016(Scott Miller) and Rod Vilencia of Pacific Coast Consulting Art Agency will be hosting a monthly Art Show on the first Saturday of each month at "Gallery 016" 2020 Main Street Los Angeles, CA located at "The Brewery" Art Colony. "One Night Only" is the name of the show series. This show will bring together six artists for just one evening from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm on the first Saturday Night of each month!
This event is curated by Pacific Coast Consulting Artist Management Agency and we will be doing the sales on behalf of the artists. All you will have to do is get your work approved, show up, hang your work, and have fun! We will be will be acting as Agent and Representative for all of the artists that will be shown each month. In other words we will do the sales, talk money and negotiate deals, so you won't have to! Also, Gallery 016 Accepts Major Credit Cards so it will make sales easier for some artists who are not set up for Credit Card Transactions!
Our Plan with this show is to make it a monthly event and help out some local artists who would like to get some exposure, sales help, and help upstart artists to get their work seen at a cool venue in great space at "The Brewery" Near Down Town Los Angeles! So it will be a fun one night event each month to show your latest works or to get some of your older work seen and hopefully sold! The gallery/agent fee will be a 45% mark up on your sell price to cover the Gallery Space and Agent Commissions. P.C.C. will also consult with each artist free of charge and provide a free price review of your work. You will also be given a short portfolio review if you are selected to be shown free of charge as well! If you currently have an agent or Artist Representation this event is not for you.
Our hope is that by showing six artists who can invite friends, and past clients to the event each month, it will expand the customer base for all of the artists involved and get more buyers to see their work! If everyone involved in being shown spreads the word about the event, it could become a great show to be seen at and a great venue to sell some of your work! If the event does well and we are able to, we even hope to be able to do some higher end advertising to increase the knowledge of the event, and with that the crowd at the show will hopefully grow as the word about this innovative new show spreads.
The gallery will supply snacks, play music, and "016" has a fun hip vibe to complete setting the tone for you to help you get your work SOLD! Again, there is an approval process to be shown at this monthly show. Not everyone who submits will be approved and accepted. Pacific Coast Consulting is the most exclusive art agency and artists representation firm in the Los Angeles area, so we are very selective about the artists that we show even at this event. If you want to participate in the show and show your work, or if you know an artist that you think would benefit from being included, please pass this information along to them!
We are planning on booking the January to June shows in the next sixty days, so if you are interested, please send a request to be shown and submit SIX photos of your work and tell us a bit about you and your work. We are looking for Mixed Media and Fine Artists for this series. If we already know you and know of your work, you do not need to submit photos! At this time I have one spot available for the January 5th show and two spots available for the March 1st show through the June 7th shows! The February 2nd show is already booked full!)
