I struggled to get a shot I was happy with so mine is one that even my wife said wouldn't sit well with DPC voters. It's a funny thing when your wife starts to understand the quirks or DPC voters ;)

Lots of room to slide... I havn't checked out the entries but I don't think mine will be quite in line with the typical 'bird' shot. ;) What I realized during my short-lived attempt to shoot a bird is that I need a longer lens or more patience and skill. Or some combination of all three!

Well there is a high chance that 3rd place will be a gift for you. At this stage I have no ideas for it.

PS: If you'd kept quiet then 3rd would have been a gift as I didn't realise there was a 3rd/4th playoff next week ;)
