Hmmm. It's almost fun enough just to know I'm 4-1.

Almost.

Grin.

Okay, your punishment is to include my user name in one of your entries somehow this month.

Seems like Crime Scene would be perfect: "death of levyj413", "levyj413 and the hooker", "levyj413 the drug addict", "levyj413 polluting a river" {this one would be especially good since he works for the EPA), etc. So ryand, I am looking forward to your entry -- and make it good so it can end up on the front page!

Heh. All of those would work. :) Ryan, I mean that my user name (literally, the letters "levyj413," not some metaphorical reference, assuming one is even possible) has to be legible in the photo somewhere, somehow. It can be central, it can be on an edge, it can be visible on a piece of paper you're crumpling up to throw away, it can be on the side of a can, whatever. The title can include my user name or not, it's up to you.

Or, levyj413 printed on the back of a jersey or jacket of either the victim or the cop processing the scene :) bwahahhahhahahaaa

Or maybe a hot hooker looking at her phone book of clients, with "levyj413" listed prominently -- and to make it even better, have the list include each of her client's preferences. :-)

Edited to add: bwahahhahhahahaaa

Well, I didn't see my name in any crime scene photo.

And Ryan, I've got some bad news for ya:

I have to bow deeply to your free study entry. Great way to satisfy your punishment!

The bad news continues to roll in, though, as I managed a 6.2692 in the Landscape IV challenge. If it holds, that'd be, let's see ... a 6-1 record. Of course, it helps that you keep not entering. ;)

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to drop ya'll a quick note. I'm glad things are still cooking in this little side competition. Johnna, I'm so sorry I haven't been giving you any competition. My life has been crazy lately with my wife in pre-term labor and on strict bedrest, I've been getting a taste of what it's like to be a single parent. I've been so slack I didn't even renew my membership when time came. I hope you guys can forgive me for not keeping up with this little challenge. Once the baby is born, I hope to have more time to get back into the DPC thing. Much love!

Well, when you don't enter, punishing you is kind of like kicking a cat. :)

hey i can accept it, my highest score was a 0.0000, and yours was a 6.000+, therefore i deserve my punishment, I'm looking to get an entry for the purple challenge, we'll see though, i stopped working now that school started so i should have more free time.

Well, you did such a great job with the last one, try this: include in one entry this month the concept that you simply must break 6.0 this month.

FWIW, I'm not planning to enter this week's opens, so that'll be a free shot for you.

Hey I'll get this shot in during september, I actually finally entered one in abstract b&w, its bombing though, sadly enough. I'll find a way to incorporate the 6.0+ into one this month.
09/06/2008 01:46:30 AM · #369
Ryan, are you in this week's opens? Last week I managed a 5.7963 in B&W Abstract, and I'm sitting at about 5.6 in Overexposed. FS is over 6.6, though that doesn't count for this. :)

Congrats on keeping this going, those that are still competing.

Budya and I are still going strong. Congrats to her for winning in August with the rubber ducky behind bars which finished in the top 10.

Current score: Budya 3, ErikV 5.
