My beautiful wife got me a nifty fifty 50mm 1.8 I wanted as well as a backpack to hold my camera and all my accessories including my tripod. I also got a shutter release that is in the mail to me, it didn't make it before Christmas. I got a battery drill and leaf blower as well as clothes. I had a great Christmas!!!! Tell me about yours.

Merry Christmas Everyone, Jeremy

My 2 and 1/2 year old got a shiny new digital camera and LOVES it. I think I may create a profile for him and let him enter challenges.

ETA: I'm so proud.

That sounds great, I wished I would have started photography earlier.

I cried off and on all day... I wish my husband could have been here to see his baby girls' first "real" Christmas...

Otherwise, it was good and we had a big ole dinner and the kids made out like bandits :D

Xmas started at 4:30 when the youngest discovered Santa had been here. By 6 the kids went back to sleep with their piles of presents around them on the couch. I got some things I have been asking for, calibration software, another hard drive, continuous ink system, Simpsons movie, & some cds. My aunt arrived at 11:30. My parents picked up my sister at the Milwaukee airport, got here around noon. We overate, they played Apples to Apples while I ran a snake down our main drain in the basement. That has become an holiday tradition because it gets clogged with roots,& I spend either Thanksgiving, Xmas or both running a snake down it. Overall I give it a 9, a few family members couldn't make it.

Went to the beach and took photos. It was a bit windy and rainy and sunny and rainy and windy. I saw a whale off the shore and that was special. I will post a photo or two, not whales since I only had a 50mm.
