I want to make an action in CS3 to resize many photos to 320 pixels on the long side. I made it ok, but when I run it I am still being asked to input the last function - the Jpeg options ...the last pop up where you select from 1 to 12 changing the final image size. What am I doing wrong - why isn't that included in the action I recorded?

You're running the batch by choosing File | Automate | Batch, right? If so, down in the Destination section of that dialog, there is an "Override action Save As Commands" option. Check that. And select Folder as the destination type. It'll put the images where you choose (click Choose) and will use whatever settings you had picked for your save (except the location of the save).

I deleated that action ready since it didn't work right anyway. I am making my 5th action to reduce the files. Heck...I coulda been done already doing each one ...one by one LOL

I hope this one is right

Thanks though - I did make a note in my little hints book

eta: I made it! It works just like I wanted it to...
Merry Christmas!
