Deb, we have all been having this adventure along side of you, thanks to photography and the internet. Now you can be safe at home and we can share your happiness that the adventure is over. I am so happy for you!

Sorry, got that wrong, should have been:

I never have been any good at math.

Deb, I'm so glad you're back. I was so frickin worried about you all year (or whatever the endless time period was) that I was afraid of saying anything that might jinx you.

Now you're going to slip in the bathtub.... ACK!

So very, very glad to hear you're home safe, Deb.

YAYYY!!!! Deb's home safe and sound! Now where are those two kitties of hers? :-)

You know Deb, I'm really glad to hear that you are back in Germany, but my main thought is, what is the Army going to do without their top photographer?

Yay, you're back! :D
Europe missed you, welcome back :)

Yay Deb! Glad to hear you are back safely. I have to say tho, that I really enjoyed browsing thru your photos. I learned a lot about a place that I most likely will never see. Now how about a tour of Germany? :)

hey there - somewhat off topic but; does anyone know if you have to submit a full size file to Kodak POTD, or a web sized file a la DPC?

But we did stave of the risk of thermo-nuclear freakout from Iran just before Deb got her flight. Actually having a bathtub might make up for the odd slip.

Er - didn't really mean that, Deb - have fun strolling freely around the streets, but take care of domestic booby traps :-)

I think they is adhering to the keep eet eezy principle whereby specifying such a thing a file size would be too techrifal for their perceived target group. Sarcastic as I am, that's not such a bad thing either. It does look as though everything gets reduced to a max height of 350 . . .

Just peeking in - it's been a rough few days here, hubby is back to work, and I'm finding the house very lonesome without him here.

I've got a rivers/streams photo in that is sucking along wonderfully at about a 4.8. best of all though - I don't care one bit, as I quite like the photo myself.

Deb glad to hear you are back home.
01/15/2008 06:00:01 PM · #849
Perhaps to keep Deb out of photography shock and awe we should limit her to pavement or grass or snow ... that may be closer to the sand she's used to now. Yep ... for the next month she's limited to snow pics! Mind you nothing in or around the snow ... just the snow.
Watch she'll probably pull off a ribbon or two too.

Edit to say: Of course, I'm delighted that you are back home, happy, and safe(r).

I am WAY behind in this thread, and I just entered my first challenge since October. I am in Abandoned Buildings. It is not a winning shot by any means, but at least I have an entry! There was a lot going on in my life in Oct and Nov, then the busy-ness of Christmas. I should be back to "normal"--as normal as I get anyway. I plan to enter at least one challenge a week (of course, I have said that before...)

Haven't read much yet, but from the most recent entries I guess Deb is back--good news!
