Maybe the winner should be the photo which scored closest to 5.5000! Paul

I shoot for a 5.5. A goal I seldom reach.

Damn! I should have kept the bug on a tire I originally submitted! Nah, just kidding, I think what I have in there now is even MORE MUNDANE! Just afraid it might qualify for the mediocre as well... 8-)

Thx...

Every day objects.. Things that you see a lot and rather ignore,

Really common things. forks, tires, grass, asphalt, pigeons. socks.. etc etc etc

I can see a 3-4 average coming for not keeping with the theme. Still I will be happy. It was a fun picture to shoot, I enjoyed the final product..... and I got to eat the subject after finishing the shot! lol

Seriously I will learn a lot from this challenge. I am not sure how to take an ordinary object and make it look great. Looking forward to seeing some great pictures.

I see about an 8.789 average...and one of the best photos ever on this site.

Someone has to think positive. : )

Great? Now you tell me it has to be a great picture? I thought it was just supposed to extra-ordinary!

Forks, forks, forks--they are apparently the most mundane silverware!

It's interesting to see the range of creativity in the photos... maybe we need a fork challenge.

Just start voting on the Mundane Challenge and you're not kidding about the forks.

Just curious. Don't you think this challenge is more susceptible than most to be voted down because of the voter's interpretation of extraordinary?

Too bad about that. I guess they're getting nailed for that faux pas.

One forks shot is my challenge favorite. It's not the forks--it's how you shoot them.

There are a lot of forks in this one, but I also like your fork picture the best also. :D
