I used to have this action for photoshop but my computer has gone thru a clean sweep (windows reinstalled) and now I cant remember where I got it. Ive already checked actioncentral (atncentral) but its not there. I have a photo that is way dark and I know this action works for these types of photos. Ive also skimmed through adobe free actions and I didnt find it there either. :( any ideas where a girl might find it?

Why not just use the Shadow/Highlights adjustment?
Click Image | Adjustments | Shadow/Highlights and go from there.

because I only have photoshop 7.0 and thats not an option. when I try to fix with levels it all has a bad green look to it. Im really wishing I had taken this in raw so I wouldnt have this headache. I really need to save this photo as its the last photo of a father and daughter (dancing on her wedding day) that will ever be taken. the father passed away 3 days ago. I know this action works...just have to find it

you could use levels, even with the green skew, and then correct the colorcast afterwards.

Download a copy of Photoshop CS3 and try it for 30 days. If you like it ... upgrade. If you don't, keep what ya got. ;-)
