My mom's best friend is a photographer and recommended me to get the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM.
If anyone has this lens, could you please give me a bit of info about it, and how much you like it?
Thanks :) |

Sold mine to talj and bought the 2.8IS version. Whilst I love the 2.8 I often wish I still had the F/4, its so light (in comparison) and imho is just as sharp so if you don't 'need' that extra stop then it's probably the best 70-200 out there :) |

| Thanks. It's about the most expensive lens i can afford that's available. I probably won't need that extra f/stop, except on rare occasions. |

| Without a doubt, the sharpest zoom lens you'll ever own. |

It's really a great lens for the price. I'm pretty sure it's Canon's cheapest L series lens. It is blazing fast on the focus and is an extremely light lens like Ecce Signumstated. I've still have the lens, but it's taken a recent sit into the bag for my 100-400. I'm not sure on some of the sigma and tokina lenses but you will not be disappointed by it's performance. Trevor~ |
