'coz mine was dirty.. so I did.

But seriosly... it's been on the camera for 3 years and I never realized how dirty it was until I got new one with my D300.

Also, check it for wear. My strap of three years was nearly worn through at the eyes where it attaches to the camera.

neckstrap is just crawling with staph... have fun recovering from MRSA
