Boredom + Camera + Fish = What you see below. I have no idea what type of fish it actually is, but I just call him "Big Fish" for now... plus it reminds me of the movie (which was rather entertaining). This was heavily photoshop edited, so posted below is the original image and its exif data. Anywho... just curious what people might think of this :) Thanks in advance!
Fullview - 1000x700ish @ ~150KB
Original Image:
Model : Canon EOS 10D
ExposureTime : 1/40Sec
FNumber : F4.0
ISOSpeedRatings : 400
Flash : Not fire
FocalLength : 73.00(mm)

Looks great, Mike. I love the added contrast and green - it works well with the yellow of the fish. You captured Big Fish at the perfect angle, too. Nice job!

Carefull Michael, Tropical fish are one reason I upgraded to my A1. I do like the pic but maybe you could get rid of the last bit in the cave?
I'll get shot if anybody from my forum reads this but most fish pics over there are average and its good to see a well presented pic. I'm glad to see you have seen fit to enhance it somewhat.
btw, you have a good looking Chinese Algae Eater there but unfortunately they are not known for being good algae eaters!

Last bit in that cave has been removed, and pics are updated. Thanks for the suggestion and great compliments. And thanks even more for telling me what type of fish it is... and he certainly sounds like one, as far as the not eating algae goes, lol.
And I had no idea there were entire forums dedicated to fish photography... I shall have to check that out!

mp Michael and believe me, there are as many fish forums out there as there are fish in the sea! (well almost)
My personal site is here, its only a small site but has a couple of galleries. CorydorasWorld is a site I help administer and is a great place to answer all your fish questions (it was the site owner that identified big fish).
