Oke, i've found a sx-70 land polaroid camera on the addick (spell-check). And i'm really in love with the outcome of those shoot-wait-ready photo's.

But now i've read on the internet, that those new films 600 type are very quick overexposed. I think it has to do with the new chemicals? Well anyway, I was wondering if anyone here does / work with this (yes, even in 2007) and know a good way to produce some nice quality photo's with good lighting.

Any help is appreciated, thanks !

I tend to have more problems with under-exposure with my Polaroid. However, I have a 1967 Polaroid Land Camera. It's the one with the expandable billow and the film is a tear off, not the same as the SX-70. It is the same series of film though. I use 600 series for that camera.

The problem is you're going to have to take a test shot to get the lighting right. The downside to that is that the film is so expensive.

Also, Polaroid has stopped producing the really cool SX-70 film (Time-zero film). Take a look at this for more information: SX-70 Time-zero Film

Hope this helps.

Thanks alot! Yea've read they stopped those films. I read those are better then the 600 from now. Well, atleast for this type of polaroid camera.

Bought a new set today, the last one had some good shots .. a bit bright but not bad at all.
